A BIT OF HEAVEN
A BIT OF HEAVEN
Through movement ideas reflecting on a large variety of dance languages, this work portrays the inner dialog within the process of overcoming loss. The reaction and decisions that follow this type of trauma transform an individual indefinitely.
“A Bit of Heaven” is meant to question and drive into the ever changing conditions in a person’s life. We hoped to explore the resilience produced by the will of an individual and how there comes a point in time where a choice is made, regardless of circumstances, to find joy in the most painful situations.
*This work was performed in March before the COVID-19 lockdown occurred to ensure the safety of the Los Angeles Community.
